Dendritic Chrysoprase Necklace

This one of a kind sterling silver and dendritic chrysoprase necklace has been air chased which is a technique capturing air between 2 layers of metal. The metal is repeatedly annealed (heated to make metal softer) and hammered to create craters and "pinches". The dendritic chrysoprase has been prong set. A 9kt gold nugget has been soldered in one of the craters to add balance to the necklace. Each link on the handmade chain has been forged to add strength to the links. The chain is 18 inches but can be adjustable. The necklace has been oxidised to enhance the texture on the pendant.
